This week, UEFA, the Swiss Football Association, partners and special guests gathered high above the clouds to celebrate the opening of the Women’s EURO 2025 ticketing platform and volunteer application.
To the sound of traditional Alphorn music, tournament ambassador and former Swiss national team player Lara Dickenmann kicked off the festivities with a symbolic penalty kick in the snow, played at an astonishing 3,454m above sea level.
“Undoubtedly, UEFA Women's EURO 2025 in Switzerland will inspire more girls to take up football and drive the growth of women’s football overall. There is no greater gift for any former player than inspiring the next generation.”
Tickets are in high demand! Don't miss out
Available from just 25CHF, tickets are already selling like hotcakes. UEFA’s official partner, Visa, offered cardholders exclusive early access to the first batch of tickets, and the response was overwhelming. 30,000 tickets were snapped up during the pre-sale, with fans from Switzerland and 48 other countries securing their seats for the 31 matches. You can get yours too at womenseuro.com/tickets.
Join the team and become a volunteer
Together with the eight host cities – and in collaboration with AXA, the official partner of the volunteer programme – we are looking for 2,500 volunteers to join the fun and help fans feel welcome, whether at fan zones, in city centres or at the stadiums.

Gearing up for summer 2025
The opening of the ticketing platform and the volunteer application marks another milestone on the way to setting a new global benchmark for international women’s sports events, that will resonate across Switzerland, Europe and beyond.
“The 2025 UEFA Women’s EURO will be another pivotal moment for the future of women’s football. This tournament goes beyond showcasing Europe’s top talent—it embodies UEFA’s deep commitment to elevating the sport and expanding its reach across the continent. We are eager to see the passion it will ignite in host cities and beyond, as it offers a powerful platform to inspire the next generation of fans and players. This is more than a sporting event—it celebrates progress and immense potential in women’s football.”
