The UEFA Referees Committee has announced the referee for Sunday's UEFA Women's EURO 2013 final between Germany and Norway at Friends Arena in Solna, Sweden (16.00CET kick-off).
The match will be handled by 39-year-old Romanian official Cristina Dorcioman who has been an international referee since 2002 and has officiated in a total of 62 UEFA fixtures in her career. During the Women’s EURO in Sweden, Dorcioman has taken charge of two group stage matches: Netherlands vs Iceland (0-1) in Vaxjo and Finland vs Sweden (0-5) in Gothenburg. Last season, she also refereed three UEFA Women’s Champions League matches, including the quarter-final between VfL Wolfsburg and WFC Rossiyanka (2-1) in Germany.
At the final in Solna, Dorcioman will be assisted by Sian Massey (England) and María Luisa Villa Gutiérrez (Spain), with the fourth official being Kirsi Heikkinen from Finland. A Czech reserve assistant referee – Lucie Ratajova – completes the line up of the refereeing team.
