Moldova and the Czech Republic have completed the lineup for the 2010/11 UEFA European Under-19 Championship elite round after being confirmed as the two best third-placed sides from the qualifying round.
Holders France, four-time winners Spain – beaten by Les Petits Bleus in last season's final in Caen – 2008 champions Germany and 2003 winners Italy all safely negotiated the qualifying round, which kicked off on 28 September. The Czech Republic finished third in Group 5 and, on the final day of action, Moldova did likewise in Group 6, both progressing by virtue of their record against the teams who finished first and second in their respective qualifiers.
The draw for the elite round takes place in Nyon, Switzerland, at 12.15CET on 30 November. The 28 qualifiers will be divided into seven groups of four teams, with the top team in each section joining hosts Romania in next summer's final tournament. The elite round will be played in spring 2011.
