Who will be in the 2022 Europa Conference League final?

The first Europa Conference League final will pit Italian side Roma against Feyenoord of the Netherlands, the two highest-scoring teams in the competition who possess, in Tammy Abraham and Cyriel Dessers, the two individual top scorers.

Feyenoord began their campaign in Kosovo on 22 July and had to come through three qualifying rounds; they are unbeaten in the competition proper. José Mourinho's Roma, who started in the play-offs, dusted themselves down from a 6-1 group loss at Bodø/Glimt to book their place in the decider.

The stadium opened in November 2019 with a European Qualifier between Albania and France. It was built, with the help of UEFA's HatTrick assistance programme, on the site of the former Qemal Stafa Stadium in the centre of the Albanian capital.

Have Roma won a European cup? What about Feyenoord?

Roma and Feyenoord lock horns for Conference League crown

Roma have yet to win a major European trophy – they were European Cup runners-up in 1984 and beaten in the 1991 UEFA Cup final – but Mourinho has plenty of them: two UEFA Champions League titles (with Porto in 2004 and Inter in 2010) and two UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa Leagues (Porto 2003, Manchester United 2017). Should he win the UEFA Europa Conference League trophy, the 'Special One' would have won all three of the current major UEFA club competitions.

Feyenoord are looking to complete the same set as Mourinho; they won the UEFA Champions League trophy when it was still the European Cup in 1970, and picked up the UEFA Cup, now the UEFA Europa League, in both 1974 and 2002.
